Taebaek, Korea - on 1st Sep., the first competition day started at Main Sports Complex at 10: 00. The first match of 4 pools were played.

The first match was between Iran and Malaysia. Iran as the seed was in the same pool with Malaysia and Korea B. In this match, Malaysia performed well. Iran had the height advantage. Both of the teams moved fast, but frankly speaking, Iran was faster. Malaysia strived much harder to keep the tie until the 86th minute. It was expected that the match would end with a tie, but Iran scored the winning goal by No. 9 Alirela Askan at the 86th minute. At the added time, Malaysia got a chance to take a shot but failed in scoring. Finally, Iran won with 1: 0.

The second match was between Team Korea-A and Team Hong Kong. For this championship, 3 Korean Teams came, among which Korea A was the strongest team. The Korea A team took the leading and kept it till the end of the match, by scoring 3 goals in first half and 2 goal in the second half. The mach ended with 5: 0, with Korea A winning.
