The match between Iran and Korea B started first, which was quite eye-catching. Both Iran and Korea B were good teams as everybody knows. At the beginning, Korea Team took the control, but Iran team took the advantage of body condition, taller and stronger. Especially after it rained heavily, the advantage of Iran team was more apparent. The Iran teams took the leading by scoring first goal in the 30th minute. The leading gave more strength to Iran Team, who scored the second goal in the 44th minute.
The tentative domination did not defeat but encouraged the Korea B, who scored 2 goals in the second half, which gave a big shock to his opponents. After that, the 2 energetic teams controlled the ball in turn and challenged the goal keepers frequently. But in the last minute, Iran scored the winning goal and ended the match with 3:2. The winner will enter into the semi-finals. As the seed in Pool A, Iran was the first team, entering into the semi-finals.
One of the highlights of this event is that each team could be allowed to change the substitutes for 7 times. The adjustment of international competition rules provided more players with the opportunities to be on the court. Due to the injury, only 15 players came from Iran for this championship, so they had less chance to change the substitutes as other teams.
With this disadvantage, the injured player from Iran returned to the court immediately after the simple but basic first aid. His spirit won a big applaud from the audiences.
Today, 3 Korea teams will play the matches, which attracts more local audiences and the opponent team as well, like Malaysia. Malaysia will compete with Korea B tomorrow, so the coach and players watched the performance of Korea B team carefully and learned their skills.
