Taebaek city, Korea - on 7th Sep., the final between Iran and Japan B was played, which was live broadcasted by Korean Broadcasting System. By buying the copyright, Iran TV station broadcasted the match as well. As the head coach of Iran team said, more than 25, 000 audiences watched the match in Iran. He also mentioned that the Minister of Education of Iran was reported of the Iran team's wonderful performance in Korea, who highly praised the result gained by the team and hoped Iran team can do better in the final.

As all was aware that both Iran and Japan B were the strong teams. The beautiful passing and sudden shots took the breath of all the audiences. Both of the teams won their own fans by their performance. Cheering and applause rose one flow after another.

After 10 minutes since the match started, Japan scored the first goal, which was followed by another one in the following. It gave great pressure to the Iran team, but Iran team calmed down soon and started to control of the pace of the match. They fastened the offences, shooting in one ball a few minutes later.

Taking the leading, Japan team slowed down the pace and tightened the defense. This tactics did not work, with Iran team scoring the second ball in the last few minutes before the end of the first half. What was worthy of mentioning that the goal keepers of the 2 teams performed very well. Especially, the Iran goal keeper successfully blocked a challenging ball which made the first half end with a tie.

In the second half, both of the teams fastened the offences again, in the hope to score one more goal to take the leading and to win the match. The kept in challenging their opponents. The wonderful performance of 2 teams left some expectation to the audiences for the penalty shot-out, because the match were so competitive and attractive. But Japan' s scoring broke the dream of  the audiences and ended the match with 3: 2. Japan won the Champion of 3rd Asian University Football Championship.

After the match, the head coach of Iran team said that Japan team was quite strong, but he was quite satisfied with the performance of his boys. He said only 15 players came for this championship, and they could fight till the end, which was not an easy job. He was proud of his team. Also he mentioned that their participation was fully supported by the Minister of Education of Iran and also his proposal to host next edition of AUFC gained his support as well.
