2nd Asian University Road Cycling Championship: Are you ready? 13 Oct 2016 | in Cycling

Chang Nyeong, Korea - The 2nd Asian University Road Cycling Championship will be held in Chang-Nyeong, Republic of Korea from 14th to 16th, October, 2016 and it is the 2nd time for this championship to be held here. Chang Nyeong county is famous for the hot spring, which attracts most national teams of different sports to set up training base here.

   

On the morning, a briefing meeting was held between the OC and AUSF Delegation. The details on accreditation, ceremonies and Head of Delegation meeting was run through and fixed. In the afternoon, together with Technical Delegate, the working group checked the competition venue.

Up to now, 47 participants, including 28 riders and 19 heads, coaches, and technicians from China, Japan and Malaysia were issued with the Accreditation Cards. Korean team will be expected to arrive tomorrow, because a Korean National Cycling competition is going on, where some of the Korean riders are competing. Therefore, you can say how competitive the Korean team is! Also, as the Champion and Runner-up of the inaugural event, Japan National team and Kanoya University team from Japan also came. The high-level riders will present a very attractive championship for the fans from Asian and worldwide.

 

Different from the 1st edition, this Championship only has 2 disciplines, Criterium and Individual road race (110km). ONE day to go! Who will be the champion? And who will give us the most fantastic performance? Just stay here and let’s wait them from October 14th to 16th!
