Annual Meeting of AUSF Education and Development Center 18 Mar 2016 | in NUSF

Beijing, China - AUSF Education and Development Center (the Center) hosted its annual meeting on 18 March 2016 in Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (CUPES) in China. Mr. ZHANG Xinsheng, AUSF President, Mr. CHEN Kunning, AUSF Vice president and Chair of Education Committee, Mr. XUE Yanqing, AUSF Vice Secretary General and Vice President of Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), Mr. SEETOW Cheng Fave, AUSF Treasurer, Mr. ZHONG Bingshu, Vice Chair of Education Committee and CUPES President, Mad. XIE Jun, Director of the Center and CUPES Vice President, and Mr. SHEN Zhen, FUSC Vice President and Vice Chair of FISU CDSU were present at the meeting.

 

In his welcome address, Mr. ZHANG Xinsheng expressed the heartfelt appreciation to CUPES and the Center for organizing and running a wonderful platform. He emphasized that education should be one of the core values that AUSF cherished, and the Center should play a more important role and contribute more in Educational programs. On behalf of Education Committee, Mr. CHEN Kunning extended his sincere gratitude to FUSC and CUPES for supporting AUSF educational programs. He reiterated that all the achievements in the past year should be attributed to a collective collaboration of all the staff members, and it was just a beginning of the meaningful career, together with AUSF and all the stakeholders could harvest more in the future. After that, Mr. ZHONG Bingshu shared the shock of the current economic slowing-down situation and expressed that despite the great difficulty, the Center will endeavor no less in organizing and promoting educational programs.

On behalf of the Center, Ms. XIE Jun presented a comprehensive report on the Center’s achievements in 2015. Then Mr. SEETOW Cheng Fave, elaborated on the 1st AUSF Intensive Program which was just held in Korea.

 

In 2016, the Seminar for Secretary Generals will be held during AUSF General Assembly in Xiamen, China in November, which is the first tryout to strengthen the communication with AUSF members. To follow the reach-the-unreached strategy and let the training program benefit more AUSF members, 2ndAUSF Intensive Training program will be initially hosted in South Asia in 2017.
