Xiamen, China - On 21st Nov., the 9th AUSF General Assembly went on, mainly on the election of a new board for a term of 6 years from 2016 to 2022.

To make sure the election was going on in a fair manner, 3 Scrutineers were nominated, namely Mr. HJ Muhamad Mohd HANIF (MAS), Mr. FENG Jinwen (CHN) and Ms. Gulbaram KULAKHMETOVA (KAZ). Besides, Mr. Laurent BERIEL from FISU and Mr. Martin DULTON, the President of FISU-Oceania were invited to monitor the election proceeding. The new board was composed of the following:

On the afternoon, the newly elected Executive Committee held the first meeting. All the EC members presented except Mr. Kairat ZAKIRYANOV, who didn’t show up due to delayed flight. Being first, the EC members discussed on the MOU between AUSF and FISU-Oceania, based on which AUSF and FISU-Oceania, as the continental members of FISU, would jointly hosted some events.
