Almaty – Since 2009, with the support of FISU and AUSF, an educational project to compile and publish the book on "University Sport and Universiade" was launched and initiated by Mongolian Student Sport Federation under the supervision of Secretary General Dr. Jargalsaikhan. The book mainly narrates and outlines the entire history of the World university sports, Summer and Winter Universide games and activities of FISU and AUSF. In 2014, the Mongolian version of the book was published. According to the statistics, more than 50% of the Mongolian students started to pay attend to university sports, comparing with the 5% before the book was published.

On 25th January, the unveiling ceremony of the Russian version of the Book was staged in Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, with the attendance of AUSF President XUE Yanqing, Senior Vice President AL-HAI Omar, Vice President Jargalsaikhan, Secretary General Kenny CHOW, President of the University Sports Federation of Kazakhstan and of Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism Kairat ZAKIRYANOV who is also AUSF Assessor. Also, the local professors, teachers and students were invited to witness this great moment, because the Book was made for them. Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Organizing committee of 28th Winter Universiade Tasmagambyetov was invited to write the foreword for the Book.

In the future, the Book might be translated into more languages, in the hope that more university students could be well informed of the history of university sports and the development of university sports in world and Asian wide.
