2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship: Inspection Visit 30 Mar 2017 | in Futsal,Cheerleading

 

Lingwu, China – on 29th March 2017, an inspection team under the leadership of AUSF President and FUSC Vice President XUE Yanqing, went to Lingwu city in Ningxia Province of China for the upcoming 2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship to be held from 18 – 25 September 2017, which will be co-organized by Lingwu municipal government, Ningxia Bureau of Education and Ningxia Bureau of Sports. It will invite 12 men’s fustsal teams and 12 women’s cheerleading teams from Asia and Oceania.

The inspection team listened to the preparatory report made by the Vice Mayor of Lingwu city and Deputy Head of Ningxia Bureau of Sport, in the field of competition venues, technical issues, marketing and promotion, logistics arrangements, etc. After that, the inspection team visits the venue, which is a newly built sport complex and can be accommodate more than 3000 spectators. The function rooms for Players, VIPs, Medical service, Media, Organizing Committee, etc. in the surrounding areas can fully meet the working requirements. During the tournaments, all the participants will be accommodated in a 4-star hotel, 10-minute drive from the airport. After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee will arrange a Cultural Day for teams. In the hope to enrich the program of the Championship, a workshop for coaches from home and abroad will be arranged as well, in the hope that coaches could share their experience and understanding of sports together.

Lingwu is a historical city with more than 2000 years, with beautiful sceneries. Lingwu city has strong sport atmosphere and is one of the pilot cities of “Campus Football” project launched by Ministry of Education, setting up around 60 football teams from elementary school to middle school. For attending this event, the participants must have a wonder experience not only for competition, but also for history and culture learning.
