1st AUAC : Finals 16 Apr 2017 | in Archery

Nilai, Malaysia - starting from 8:30 on the morning of April 16, the sunny weather in Nilai witnessed the excitement of the finals. The venues were freshly decorated as well. Different from the qualification and elimination sessions, in the finals, each category was competed one by one.

The first match of the day started with Compound Mixed Team between Chinese Taipei and Malaysia. The host team was good, but their opponent was tougher. In the end, the two teams finished 5 ends and Chinese Taipei won the host team by 155-152. In addition, Chinese Taipei was so strong that they beat Malaysia in Compound Women/Men Team too. Malaysia only got a chance in Compound women individual. Fatin Nurfatehah Mat Salleh (MAS) advanced Ting-Hsuan Lee (TPE) 5 points after 5 ends by 144-139.

         

In Recurve Mixed Team, China competed Chinese Taipei for the gold medal. China fought hard and tied the first end, but Chinese Taipei performed very well in the next 2 ends and finished the match by 5-1. Again, Chinese Taipei was the real winner, they swept all gold medals in Recurve.
