FISU-NUSF Seminar: Inspection Visit 22 May 2017 | in FISU-NUSF Seminar

Gold Coast, Australia – From 16 to 18 May 2017, an inspection group composing AUSF Vice Secretary General Mr. SHEN Zhen, Head of AUSF Education and Development Center (EDC) Ms. XIE Jun and AUSF General Coordinator Ms. Laura YAN visited FISU-Oceania, Australian University Sport (AUS) and Bond University, on the occasion of AUS Annual General Assembly and Conference, for the preparation of the upcoming FISU-NUSF Seminar to be held from 9 – 15 December 2017. During the inspection trip, several meetings were organized between AUSF and the host on schedule finalization, registration system design, speaker invitation, logistic arrangements, and etc. 

The Seminar will be with the theme of "Leadership and Project Management", featuring as the first joint program between Asia and Oceaina. It will be a one-week program composing of lectures, abundant discussion and team building activities. It is also a compromised culture event, not typical Asia and not typical Oceania.

           

Besides the meeting in the room, the inspection group, accompanied by its counterparts in FISU-Oceania and AUS, made a 6-hour on site inspection visit to Bond University. FISU-Oceania and AUS leadership, Bond University President paid great attention on this event.

The venues for ceremonies, plenary session, case study session and parallel workshops were carefully checked. Here, you will be offered the opportunities to have face-to-face talk with the top leaders of the governing body of international university sports, FISU and its continental federation AUSF and FISU-Oceania. Also, you will have the chance to communicate with your counterparts from Asia and Oceania, sharing the experience on how to run the federation and run the events and generating some sparkle ideas.

Bond University is a private University with 4 faculties and 4500 students enrolled. The University is only 27 years old, but it was the first private university in Austria, with strong swimming and rugby team. Besides that, 20 sports are played here. You will have full time to visit the sports facilities here.
