2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship Successfully Closed! 27 Sep 2017 | in Futsal,Cheerleading

Lingwu, China- Sep. 25th was the final day of 2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship. The Victory Ceremony started from 18:00 in the venue of Lingwu Stadium, immediately after the last futsal match between Iran and Oman. The medal awarding started from 3rd place, 2nd place and 1st place of cheerleading teams. Then the awarding went to Futsal Individual Event, including Fair-play Trophy, Best Scorer, Best Goalkeeper and Most Valuable Player. In futsal section, Kazakhstan won the Bronze Medal, Oman won the Silver Medal and Kazakhstan won the Gold Medal. Cheers went crazy when Iran, Oman and Kazakhstan futsal teams stepped on the podium. Applauses lasted a long time and cameras kept flashing when the Champion team lifting the trophy high to the audience. Besides that, all the participants were presented Diploma of Participating and Diploma of Honor, which would be a life-long memory for all the participants.

After that, Mr. Jargalsaikhan presented AUSF Crystal Cup to Lingwu Municipal Government, as well as other different parties who were involved in the organization of this championship, expressing AUSF's appreciation to their support.

      

Closing Ceremony

With the march-in of 4 cheerleading teams for Mongolia, Chinese Taipei and China, as well as 9 participating teams from Iran, Kazakhtan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Caledonia, Oman, Chinese Taipai and China, the Closing Ceremony of 2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship started. AUSF Vice President Jargalsaikhan D., Senior Vice Mayor of Lingwu City Wu Peng, Director of NPC of Lingwu City Zheng Xuepeng, AUSF General Coordinator Laura Yan, td, Technical Delegate (Futsal) Ali Targholizadeh and Technical Delegate (Cheerleading) Mandi Kwo presented the ceremony.

In his closing speech, Wu Peng thanked all the teams again and congratulated them on their wonderful performances. As it was the first international university sport event of Lingwu, he hoped that this championship could leave a good memory for all.

In the following, Mr. Jargalsaikhan delivered a speech on behalf of AUSF. He highly appreciated the dedication and commitment of all the parties, including Federation of University Sports of China, Lingwu Municipal Government, the volunteers and all the participating teams, as well as Jing-Sport and other media. It was the first time for AUSF Events to broadcast in such a large scale and a long term. At last, he expected all the participants to join in Asian University Football Cup in 2018.

     

With the lowering down of AUSF flag in the solemn anthem, 2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship successfully concluded. Safe trip back home. See you soon in next event.
