China vs. Iran

The 3^rd and 4^th place match began with China and Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan players still kept the physical advantage and shooting tactics. Overall, they kept a lead from the beginning. However, China players took the tenacious spirit for this game even though their physical consumed a lot due to the match vs. Iran last night. Player No. 20 Wu Di from China captured a choice to scored in the first goal of China when Kazakhstan team made a defense mistake. In the second half, local audience from Lingwu shouted “Come on, China!” loudly which gave the team strong impetus to fight. Player No. 9 Sun Yashu from China made the second goal after a long time stalemate. However, 2 goals were not enough to made up for the gap. Finally, Kazakhstan won the match by 4:2.

Iran vs. Oman

The final futsal match of 2017 Asian-Pacific University Futsal & Cheerleading Championship was between Iran and Oman. Lingwu Stadium was fully seated and 1500 people witnessed the born of the champion.

Obviously, Iran and Oman were the two best teams of futsal in this Championship and quite competitive in Asia. The match was kicked off by Oman, whose player organized a fast speed attack through right side in the pitch at the very beginning. It made the goalkeeper played the power play. However, he soon received a yellow card due to collision with Oman player. After that, Iran team took offensive tactics continuously and got many shooting chances. By the end of first half, the score was 2:2.

In the second half, Iran team first made a goal through the corner kick. Oman team changed the 5-0 tactics which trapped Iran players in half pitch for a long time. However, by virtue of the clever tactics, Iran team got 2 scores in the last ten minutes. Finally, Iran team won and became the Championship by 5:4.

Cheerleading Team Competition started 13:30 in the venue. All team performed in 3 rounds: Round 1, Routine Competition of 2-minute Freestyle Pom, Jazz or Hip-hop; Round 2, two teams battling each other twice; Round 3 Team Captain Show. Every cheerleader exerted the utmost of themselves. Finally, China (Beijing Sports University) won the 1st Place, Chinese (Hebei Normal University) won the 2nd Place and the 3rd Place went to Chinese Taipei and Mongolia.
