Results of Day 1:

According to the Technical Delegate Mr. Kenta Kawashima, the standard of competition of the men’s teams has advanced greatly as compared with last edition. Both Iranianteams took advantage of their height andstrong physique while the Mongolian team were very fast and tactically superior. The rest of the teams also put up very commendable performances. It can be seen from the final results that scores were all very close.

For the women’s tournament, Chinese Culture University Team from Chinese Taipei - the defending champion from 2017 and also the champion of 3x3 FISU World University League Finals 2017 – once again put up a very impressive performance. The tournament also saw the participation for the first time of two Iranian women’s teams. This is a great promotion of gender equality in AUSF events.
