Bejing, China- In order to enhance the exchanges between Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation (CTUSF), as well as to further promote the collaboration in university sports for both sides, FUSC and CTUSF successfully conducted the bilateral strategic dialogue in Beijing on August 24th , 2018.
On that morning, the 11-people delegation led by CTUSF Secretary General Tseng Ching-Yu visited FUSC headquarters, welcomed by Mr. Xue Yanqing, FUSC President, Mr. Shen Zhen, FUSC Vice President and other representatives in the organization.
The dialogue started with the welcome speech by Mr. Xue Yanqing, who briefly introduced the development of FUSC during recent years, shared the opportunities and challenges faced by the federation and gave high compliments to the remarkable achievements by both federations for years. Mr. Tseng Ching-Yu emphasized in his speech that thanks to the great support from FUSC, among the cooperation in all the fields, the sports collaboration between both sides was initiated earliest and goes as the smoothest and closest and we look forward to working closely in near future for further cooperation.
Afterwards, the representatives from both federations respectively introduced the functions and duties of concerning departments, and made deep discussions on competition operation, event promotion, etc. at last, both parties have made consensus on the regular meeting mechanism, personnel exchanges visit program and organization of student-athlete exchange competitions.
The Dialogue has not only promoted the exchanges between both federations, but also strengthened the mutual understanding and friendship among youth and staff on campus.
