Jinjiang, China- Donghua University (DHU) and Beijing Normal University (BNU) proved themselves quite competitive for FISU University World Cup finals after winning their respective matches on Nov. 5th in women’s category.
DHU swept National University of Singapore (NUS) in afternoon match by 12:0 in the Stadium of Jiyan Middle School. DHU was already confirmed their slots to semi-finals, who will meet Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from Singapore, the 1st Runner – up Group A.
In the evening match, BNU didn’t get any pressure from the opponent Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from Singapore for the whole match at all. The host team got strong support from the audience throughout the match. BNU won by 8:0 the last evening of Group Stage in Quanzhou Institute of Technology Stadium. With this result, BNU will play against College of Asian Scholars (CAS) from Thailand in semi- finals on November 7, 2018 in Quanzhou College of Technology.
For now, the Women's Group Stage has come to an end. Semi-finals and ranking matches of 5-7 will start from Nov. 6th, the shedule is as follows:
