Jinjiang, China- On Nov. 3rd, two women’s team from south east Asian University met in Jinyan Middle School football field, the College of Asian Scholars (CAS) swept National University of Singapore (NUS) with an landslide score of 14-0, which save CAS a chance to advance to the quarterfinals after a 1-4 loss to Dong Hua University (DHU) of China.
CAS dominated the match from the first minute to the end, leaving barely no chance for NUS team move into the half field of its opponent. NUS team goalkeeper became the most challenged and tired person all throughout the match. Two players were shining during the competition, including Number 10, Kanyanat Chetthabutr scored five goals, with four in the second halftime, and Number 9, scored 4 goals, both of whom represented the superb individual skills and exquisite team play of the whole CAS team.
It is worth noting that NUS men’s team has been cheering up their fellow women team till the end, even though NUS found no hope to win. Einstein, a football player from NUS men’s team expressed their focus was on academic study, only to find 3 hours for training every week. Football for them is to enjoy the game and seek valuable experience to explore other cultures.
However, according to Head of Delegation of CAS, Mr. Chanawongse, their team attached more importance on everyday training, they just finished a two weeks intensified training before coming to Jinjiang.
The other match in the afternoon was between Dong Hua University (DHU) from China and National Taiwan Normal University (NTUN) from Chinese Taipei. The only score was from NO. 11 YOU Dandan from DHU, fixing the point by 1:0.
Mongolia National Univrsity of Education (MNUE) from Mongolia and Beijing Normal University (BNU) from China met in the venue of Yangzheng Middle School. BNU was quite strong and took the lead from the beginning, and swept the field by 8 goals in the first half. The match ended by 0:9.

Tomorrow is the last day of group stage, 16 men's teams will fight for their position to the quarterfinals. The competition schedule is as follows:
