Jinjiang, China- on the evening of Nov. 9th, the curtain came down on the KELME 2018 AUSF Football Cup Women’s Competition when College of Asian Scholars (CAS) of Thailand defeated Donghua University (DHU) of China 1-0 in the final.
In the 23th minute, Number 13 Orapin Waenngoen (CAS) scored the only goal to make CAS the inaugural winner of the 1st AUSF Football Cup for the women’s competition.Though DHU went in search of goals in the closing minutes, they failed to reduce the deficit.The coach of CAS commented during the post-match interview she was very impressed by the Jinjiang' s football fields and competitors' performancesand her team will look forward to the FISU University World Cup - Football Finals 2019 as well as the 2nd edition of AUSF Football Cup in 2020.
The men's final of the competition is scheduled at 7.30 p.m. (local time) on Saturday, November 10in Jinjiang Sports Center Stadium in Jinjiang, China.
