1st Asian University Karate Championship 2019 is Officially Opened! 16 Apr 2019 | in Karate

Macau, China-The Opening Ceremony for 1st Asian University Karate Championship 2019 was held at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf with the attendance of representatives from AUSF, Organizing Committee, local authorities and nearly 100 participants from 11 countries and regions.

 

 

On behave of the Organizing Committee, OC President Mr. Lou Kit Long expressed his gratitude and warmly welcome to everyone to Macau, China for the inaugural edition of Karate championship in AUSF.

          

 

Chan Man Chio from Macau, China representing all the athletes, took the oath on behalf of all athletes and promised of fair play for the glory of sport and for the honor of the teams.

AUSF Vice-President Jargalsaikhan Dorjsuren first appreciated the joint-efforts of all sides and wished athletes good performances in Macau, China. Then he declared the opening of the championship. Since now, athletes will flight for their glory in the next two days inTap Seac Multisport Pavilion.

“The level of players in this competition is relatively high. It’s such a rare opportunity to come here and compete with everyone.” Commented by Singapore athlete Xiao Tong Quek. Her teammate Shi Ying Tan continued to remarked, “People in Macau are very kind and friendly, and it is a wonderful city rooted with culture.”
