On 27, October, the fourth AUSF Executive Committee meeting has been successfully held via ZOOM call.

This meeting comes when the whole world is witnessing a second wave of resurgence of COVID-19 cases, including west and south Asia, resulting in the continuous challenges and uncertainty to AUSF events.

During the meeting, President Report, Secretary General Report and reports of sub-committees were well received, through which previous work in last 3 months were reviewed and assessed. Thanks to the support of relevant member federations, IDUS celebration became the highlight event of the year, with 9 members participating in the AUSF Run Challenge, 6 members celebrated IDUS with their own characteristics. “This project could grow up to be an AUSF official activity of IDUS celebration in the future,” said XUE yanqing”, President of AUSF.

Followed by the regular reports came the main task of the meeting, AUSF Events in 2021 were assessed carefully in according with the Organizing Committee’s progress reports and COVID-19 situation. For the time being, 3x3 Basketball will be held on 15 - 18 April 2021 in Taichung city, Chinese Taipei. 2021 Asian University Football Cup will be held on 18-29, May, in Jinjiang China. 2021 Asian University Badminton Championship will be held on 15-19 September 2021 in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei. 2021 Asian University Rugby 7s will be held on 11-17 Oct. 2021, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
