By cooperating with Asian Chess Federation, AUSF will have its first online sport event, 2020 Asian University Chess Championship (2020 AUCC), to be held from 14-29 December 2020. The Organising Committee, National University Sports Federation of I. R. Iran (IUSF), is gearing up for the opening of the Championship.
The continuing spread of the COVID-19 has resulted in the unfortunate cancellation or postponement of all AUSF events in 2020. In the hope to better cope with the challenges brought by the pandemic, AUSF has been adapting itself to keep up with the sustainability of the Asian university sports movement, this online event is a good example to demonstrate the flexibility and determination of AUSF and all participating members.
As a virtual event, all the competitions are required to play via Chess.com, which is widely used and known among the chess players. Additionally, the use of Zoom is mandatory for all players during all games to ensure the communication between arbiters and players.
Registration has been opened since 25th November 2020, and the National University Sports Federations (NUSFs) may enter their teams by submitting the following materials to the Organising Committee via irannusf@yahoo.com, and copied to AUSF via ausf@ausf.org before,

6-ID photos size 480 x 600 pixels for all
7-a valid passport or ID copy (with English translation)
Moreover, the accreditation process will be organized virtually by the secretariat of AUSF. All the participants must submit the required documents as required in time.
