2022 Asia-Oceania University Chess Championship is around the corner 09 Dec 2022 | in Chess

By cooperating with Asian Chess Federation, AUSF will have 2022 Asia-Oceania University Chess Championship to be held from 17th-27th December, 2022. The Organising Committee, National University Sports Federation of I. R. Iran (IUSF), is gearing up for the opening of the Championship.

2022 Asia-Oceania University Chess Championship will see the participation of 72 accredited players, including 32 females and 40 males, and 16 accredited officials, 88 in total from 10 Asia and Oceania countries, namely Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka and the host Iran. 32 players will compete for the crown of Women’s individual while 40 players for Men’s individual. 7 teams (Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Sri Lanka and the host Iran) will fight for the champion of Women’s team. While 10 teams (Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka and the host Iran) for Men’s team. The list of participation could be found here.
