Jinjiang, China - Following the spectacular opening ceremony of the 2023 FISU University World Cup Football, on 22-23 October, the AUSF Executive Committee meeting was successfully held in Jinjiang China with two sessions in conjunction with Football tournament with a blended online and offline format. The meeting discussed the nomination of five Regional Representatives, composition of Sub-Committees, cooperation with partners and events calendar 2024.

After the opening remarks of AUSF President LIU Lixin, Madame LIU Jin, Director General of the Department of the International Cooperation and Exchanges, Ministry of Education as well as Vice President of Federation of University Sports of China greeted all the Executive Committee members who came to Jinjiang for the meeting on behalf of the host.

FISU Acting President, Leonz Eder who also was present at the beginning of the meeting commended the contribution of AUSF in advancing the Asian university sports movement for the sake of Asian youth, and reiterated the support of FISU to AUSF.

The bidding committee representatives led by Ms. Ma Weihong, Vice Mayor of Liaocheng Municipal Government, delivered a very comprehensive and impressive bidding report, which helped them obtain the hosting right convincingly during the meeting.
