Zhoushan, China - After one day busy and fierce competition, half day cultural program in Zhanmao, a beautiful pedestrian street, was organised by the OC, in the hope to let the participating university students have the opportunity to taste the local delicious snacks, experience local traditional culture and interact with the local people.

NAUMKONG Palida from the female team of Silpakorn University (THA) wrote her nickname “Panda” in Chinese characters with writing brush, and took a picture with it. She said: “I love traditional Chinese culture as influenced by my parents, “Panda” is not only my nickname, but also my favorite animal. The activities here are so attracting, I’m very happy that this time I can come to Putuo to participate in the competition and personally experience the traditional folk culture.”
The pool games went on from the afternoon. The teams competed fiercely for the top positions in their respective group and the qualification for the knock-out round.
In women's tournament, Yunnan Normal University (CHN) led the Group A with an impressive record of 4 strict-win, and directly qualified for the final four. University of Taipei (TPE) ranked second in Group A with 3 wins -1 loss. Bangkok University (THA) finished third in the group with 2 wins - 2 losses; In the Group B, National Taiwan Normal University (TPE) won the final four directly by winning 3 games. Huazhong University of Science and Technology (CHN) also performed well, finished second in the group with a 2 wins -1 loss. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (HKG) ranked at third place with a 1 win - 2 loses record.
In Men’s Tournament, Guangdong University of Technology (CHN), Mon-Altius Physical Education Institute (MGL), Beijing University of Technology (CHN), Royal International University (MGL) led their respective Group by winging all three games. Tainan University of Technology (TPE), Tribhuvan University (NEP), Shahid Beheshti University (IRI) and University of Macau (MAC) went through to the Semi-finals as the rank 2 of respective Group.
In addition to the main event, a Shoot-out contest for female and Slam Dunk for male were arranged between matches. The list for the finals to be organised the following day is as below.
