Lausanne, Switzerland - FISU has decided to open the 2018 FISU World University Championships to students from all around the world who want to gain experience and further their organizational abilities. International volunteers will have the opportunity to take part and experience a World University Championship (WUC) from inside, working as part of an Organizing Committee.

After a great success in 2016, FISU is launching for the second time its International FISU Volunteer Program, aiming to offer worldwide volunteers the possibility to gain experience at an international sport event and develop event management and communication skills. It is also an opportunity to create worldwide contacts with the International University Sport community. On the other hand, this program will also allow the 2018 FISU WUC Organizing Committees to benefit from outsiders’ vision on their event and have an added value of key volunteers in important organizational areas.
