With the endorsement of the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF), the 2026 Asian University Dragon Boat Championship, to be held from 24th to 26th May in Dongchang Lake, Liaocheng, China, will be organized by China Student Sports Federation (CSSF), Liaocheng Municipal People’s Government and Liaocheng University, and supported by Asia Dragon Boat Federation (ADBF) and Chinese Dragon Boat Association (CDBA).
Located in the west of Shandong Province, Liaocheng is at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, with a total area of 8628 square kilometers and a population of 6.5 million. It is an ancient city nurtured by both the Yellow River Civilization and the Grand Canal Civilization with its civilization history of more than 5000 years and the city history of over 2500 years. It has a superior location and convenient transportation. Liaocheng enjoys a complete industrial system, among 41 industrial divisions in China, there are 32 divisions in Liaocheng.
