Beijing, China – AUSF Secretariat Working Meeting was convened on 22nd February to discuss the blueprint of AUSF work in 2025 and beyond, in the hope to accelerate the sustainable development of AUSF. The meeting, held in Beijing, brought together Dr. LIU Lixin, as AUSF President, Dr. TSENG Ching-Yu, as AUSF Vice President, Mr. SEETOW Cheng Fave, as AUSF Secretary General, Dr. HA Woong Yong, as AUSF Treasurer, Ms. YAN Yuetong, as AUSF Vice Secretary General, and all the AUSF Secretariat staff to review past achievements, address current challenges, and outline future initiatives aimed at maintaining the sound development of AUSF.
Dr. LIU Lixin delivered the opening remark and welcomed all the participants as not only AUSF President, but also the President and Secretary General of the host China Student Sports Federation (CSSF).
During the half-day meeting, the EC members together with the Secretariat staff have heard and deliberated the amendment of Constitution, Finance report, Online Accreditation System, Partnership Program, and the proposed AUSF events such as Healthy Campus Seminar, EC meeting cum Media & Marketing Seminar, youth Promoter Project, etc, in the hope to ensure the smooth operation and effective coordination of the federation, thereby fostering the continued development and prosperity of Asian university sports.
“This meeting is only a start”, concluded by Dr. LIU Lixin, “what’s more important is to hope each of you continue working closely with each other and the Secretariat, leading and supporting the relevant commissions to carry out our planned works in an orderly and timely manner to ensure the sound and sustainable development of AUSF.”
Meanwhile, the participants also visited the new working office of AUSF Secretariat located in Shangdi, Beijing. This office, sponsored by China Student Sports Federation (CSSF), will come to use after renovation and decoration within this year.
