From June 12 to 14, top university basketball players from Asian countries and regions will gather at Putuo Gymnasium to compete for the qualification to represent Asia in the World University 3×3 Basketball League.

According to reports, the Asian University 3×3 Basketball Championship is the highest-level and the most influential university 3×3 basketball event in Asia.

A total of 23 teams from 9 countries and regions have confirmed their participation in this championship, including 13 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams. Approximately 130 athletes, coaches, referees, and AUSF officials are expected to be involved in the event.

Putuo has successfully hosted the 6th and 7th editions of the championship consecutively. Its mature tournament management, well-established venue facilities, and thoughtful cultural and tourism services have won high recognition and full praise from AUSF and all participating teams, while accumulating rich experience in hosting international events.

During the event, the Organizing Committee will also arrange a series of activities for the young players, including campus sports exchanges and locally featured cultural experiences, enabling them to explore the profound cultural and historical heritage of Putuo.
